BLIND PIG
208 South 1st Street
Ann Arbor MI 48104
(734) 996-8555
www.blindpigmusic.com

Blind Pig is a phenomenon in the Ann Arbor area, and in fact in the entire area of southeast Michigan. Why? Historically, for starters, Jimi Hendrix and John Lennon have played here. When grunge was at its peak, Nirvana mentioned Blind Pig in an MTV interview as their "number one venue choice of anywhere, ever." Enough said. The complete history is on their website (see the link above).
Currently, they feature a virtual smorgasbord of live music, ranging from rock to punk to industrial to reggae to blues and swing. They feature bands from all over--local, regional, and even national. There is no shortage of entertainment at this popular club. If you would rather shoot pool or throw some darts, there's also a game room where you can do that. The Blind Pig has it all. Open seven nights a week, door opening between 8pm and 9:30pm.
